Twister Installed on a Catalyst Fines Tank:
An Example Job Installation where the Tank went from oil-down to gas-free in record time. After a day and a half of recirculation through the Twisters, all that remained was washing out with hand hoses....there were no mounds left in the tank. This was the pumping system used to recirculate tank contents through Twister nozzles, and subsequent pictures show piping and Twisters on tank:
Typical Coverage Pattern for a Tank with 4 Twisters Installed. Depending on tank diameter, 1-4 Twisters may be recommended. In this example, 2 pumps are operating simultaneously, and feeding one Twister at a time each. After a period of time, valves are switched, causing the active Twisters to become dormant and activating the dormant Twisters.
An example of ugly cat fines tank bottoms before dilution with cutter stock and refluidization with Twisters:
The Twister is a Submerged Jet Mixer, shooting its stream subsurface to the tank contents to agitate and refluidize the tank bottoms....but this picture shows what the stream would look like using firewater at 3000 gpm/150 psi
